Technically, the Obama ad is not a political ad. It was a network ad advertising the speech he was going to make AS PRESIDENT.
That makes it a public service ad for those who wanted to listen to what our President had to say.
I have always respected the office, if not the man in that office.

Reality folks is that if you use Google, your Web site activity is 'monitored'.
Monitored in the fact that whatever sites you attend, when you get to 'advertised' sites like HI, you'll see ads in the free space that are presumed to be of your interest.
If you found the Obama ads on the side offensive, then they did their work. Then again, I see them, which means it is likely a 'hit' for everybody.
Personally, I mostly see ads on the borders about mens clothes, houses, home repair, cars, food, and dating services. They have seen my internet profile from Google and notice that I like these things.
Unless you use Khoolshady's advice, you'll likely see these on literally any site you visit with 'custom' ads on the sides.
And if you don't think 'Big Brother' knows what you are sending over your internet connection?
I hate to tell ya, but there are Government programs snooping the web. And I 100% guarantee they have a profile on each and every one of us in some form or fashion.
I know for a fact that there are programs that sniff the web looking for phrases, sayings, and key words trying to identify things.
There are some things that are rumors and there are others that are real. What I'm talking about is very very real.
While you have anonymity on this site, you have zero anonymity on the web when it really matters.
