Too goddamned bad. It's a for profit site, and any political ads, although perhaps disgusting to any number of members, are for the purpose of making money, of which I'm certain a conservative like yourself certainly should approve.

I find Newt Gingrich as repugnant as they come, not to mention being the biggest hypocrite in the history of American politics, but he also has the right to buy ad space.

So, why don't you just cool your jets, and gain some actual perspective? I'm personally appalled at the fact that you would make such a demand considering your 'lengthy' amount of time here.

I pay for this site too, and I don't care to read your obviously politically biased pov. No political threads are allowed here.

Politcal threads are bad news, regarding ads or otherwise. Just asking for trouble.

As I said before, if you have any issues with ads (obscenity, competing school/site, not working or not showing up, etc.) just send me a PM and I'll look into it.

Technically, the Obama ad is not a political ad. It was a network ad advertising the speech he was going to make AS PRESIDENT.

That makes it a public service ad for those who wanted to listen to what our President had to say.

I have always respected the office, if not the man in that office.
