Not surprising. Just getting him and the rest of his team to visit Nebraska was a recruiting coup.

Sadly, I agree. It's not going to be commonplace to hear "Duke, UNC, OSU and Nebraska" at any point in time.

I know, but the section about who he has been hearing the most from.... We could have been in there you know. Unless he has told coach miles that he is wasting his time.

But I do agree about getting them on campus being great!

I think Coach Miles knows he is wasting his time. Coach Miles will serve the program best by going after the players who he has a chance to land. It is important to shoot high, but as a program we aren't where we need to be to pursue a top five player.

Very true.... I will still hold out hope that we get one or two of those guys that visited for the spring game. I definitely get where you are coming from though.

I the Okafor will be a Buckeye in the end. He won't be a Husker, but getting him was huge. To have other recruits being able to see we have top recruits checking us out is big,, and to have him give us great marks is even bigger. If he has AAU teammates interested in us and giving us a hard look, he can tell them about the great time he had.

  • That would be a great place to start a pipeline. Need a go to talent place, a la Ft. Scott in football.

  • Getting one or two of Okafor's teammates down the road would be huge. There's some good talent on that team in the 2014 class besides Okafor that would be good to get.
