The Bone Yard

So were Dan Hawkins' teams. He's a much better coach than Dan Hawkins but I don't see him having success at this level of competition in recruiting or on the field. Much easier when you're pummeling teams in the WAC and MWC than in the B1G. But, I'm sure i'll get a down vote again for stating my opinion on a coach that has nothing to do with Nebraska.

Hawkins was not the brains behind the operation. Pray Wiscy doesn't get him. Barry is a stud though and will hire a great coach. We could've used Barry at Nebraska.

And let's be clear about Dan Hawkins...he wasn't that bad of a coach at Colorado. That athletic department was a joke, and CU's schedule was laughably hard every year. He had recruiting restrictions and bad/weird luck at QB.

You saw what Embree was able to do with CU. Nothing. It won't be much different for the next guy, unless it's Mangino, who works 20 hour days.
