A little change is far different than all-black, which is what a couple of the youngsters here keep calling for.

I have no problem with a change in uniform, even the addition of black. i have real problems with an all-black version of the uniform.

We are not falling behind the flash and the flare, and MSU did not wear all-black uniforms.

I'll try to avoid the melee going on here by stating simply that Bo and the staff are employing a "long term" approach to recruiting. While it may not serve the program perfectly at this moment, it will over the course of time.

I can't help but think of Callahan's huge recruiting class way back when that was rated as one of the best in the country, but in summary was a flop. I'm guessing some of the methods people think we should be using with our current recruits were being utilized then, and all it got us a highly rated, but dysfunctional group of recruits. A number of those guys had no business being here, no matter how many stars were beside their names.

If you'll note, the guys we ARE getting seem to be of special caliber. Guys that will become recruiters themselves and represent the Huskers well. Guys that you could hypothetically say were "meant" to play for Nebraska. Those are the kind of guys Bo wants, and he is going to be patient in letting them gravitate towards Lincoln, even if the timetable doesn't suit all the fans.
