  • Who is heading to Iowa City this weekend? I am excited to see what the game day experience is like there. Anyone know of any good hot spots?

    Just saw this, but it'll be interesting to see what the atmosphere is like for this game. Iowa's never had a home game on the Friday after Thanksgiving. With a lot of students leaving campus for the holiday and the extremely disappointing season, it wouldn't be a complete shock if the atmosphere isn't as good as it usually is.

    That being said, I still expect it to be pretty good, if not quite as good as usual. Head to the Ped Mall - a strip of bars, shops and restaurants - after the game in downtown Iowa City. Can't go wrong there.
