Actually, my very first car was 1973 AMC Javelin (like the one in the photo below). But we had such a hard time finding a tranny for it that my dad figured it was best to get rid of it and settled on the Tempo.

I can tell you to not to let your friends drive your ride.. going over 60 and shove it into reverse doesn't do trannys any favors.

85 Ford Tempo, like Blitz. But I slammed the rear passenger door too hard once and it never opened again after that. And I had to open the trunk with a long screwdriver. What up Blitz?

That's crushing. That's quite a car.
My 1st car was an '83 Chrysler New Yorker. It had a talking module that annoyingly said, "A door is ajar," if the door was opened while it was running. My friends would kid me that my car was smart for talking, but not that smart if it thinks a door is a jar. LOL That cracked me up. I totalled it when I was 16. The only accident in my life that was my fault. I think I've been hit about 5 times since.

81 mustang, It was wrecked and I think I paid 350 for it when I was 14. Did all the body work myself with help from my pops. I should also add that it was like 13 years old when I was 16

Ouch! I've been driving for 55 years and it's amazing how many people I've talked to who've rolled a car. Rolled mine when I was 17. Ice cream jeep. Canvas top. Was thrown out, landed on my butt, walked away. Whew!
