Running back? Is Adam Taylor a good enough get or would you prefer Nebraska to go after Kemp/Newby and take two backs?

With the amount of times we run the football each and every week, it wouldn't hurt to have upwards to 6 RB's on scholarship on the team at all times.
We got beat in 2009 by Iowa State largely due to lack of RB depth with Helu and Burkhead injured.

Yep. I'd rather see us get 3 DTs or 3 OTs, but not if they aren't good gets. another quality back would be better than a mediocre player at a position of need.
That said, I'm fine with just Taylor if that's the way it ends up.

I would rather have newby. i used to be neutral on him and kemp but after watching more film i think i like newby more cuz of his speed. i think him with taylor is a better fit. so i would take him.

This is a video with Newby after a game. He discusses the win, and schools like Oregon, Washington, Nebraska and even sprinkles in some Johnny Stanton. The kid is sharp and a nice guy. Also a 'nebraska guy' from what I can tell.

IMO Nebraska has its all purpose RB! Big, strong, powerful, great smarts (vision) with deceptive speed! He is more than enough for this recruiting class.
Nebraska has given a lot of love to Newby and others" except the Big Red Carpet. Still no commitment and i have always stated that Newby wants to stay in Cali: alright cool.
One thing keep i saying non of Newby and "others" would dare commit especially now after Adam Taylor is in the mix! The competition in Nebraska back field is fierce and intimidating! Abdullah, Heard, Amani Cross, solid walk ons and now Adam Taylor! ,,look out!!
If any of them prove me wrong and commit i would respect him and dont get run off as Aaron Greene the 4 star all everything HS RB! Nothing is guaranteed at Nebraska but an opportunity to compete. Some kid demand entitlement without competition: ah ah Tyler Moore: yeah another one!!

Not that know any of these kids, but it appears both Kemp and Newby and hard working, team oriented guys. Doesn't seem like they the me me me attitude. If one should chose N, i don't feel we will have a problem, except for how to get everyone enough carries. Also, if Jojo and Terrell commit i don't think they RS, i think youlet Taylor RS alone.
