What do you want to see Friday from Nebraska?

  • I hope we get back on track with the run game. Wasn't real impressed with our yards per rush average against Minnesota. Iowa will gear up to stop it and they have a pretty good LB crew. I also would like to see some more touches for Heard and the continued development of Turner. Oh, if we could get a punt return over 10 yards... that we be good too!!!

  • Prediction: Another 300 yard passing game for TM and another 100+ yard receiving game for Kenny Bell.

    Iowa's pass defense is not good, and Petersonj21 is right that they'll gear up to stop the run. Let them.

  • I want to see us dominate a team on the road that we should dominate. I want this game to look a lot like the Minn game.

    I also want Bell to get at least 130 yards receiving, which would get him that much closer to 1,000!!

    A minimal number of penalties.

    A clean, all business type approach in which we put this thing away by the 3rd quarter.

    I'd love to see the OL and DL dominate rather weak Iowa OL and DLs. Also harassment of Vandenburg would be good to see with holding Iowa to 14 points or less.

  • I want to see our WR core get healthy.

    This group is showing well but they are pretty beat up right now. I expect this game to be decided pretty early. I hope we are able to go into ground and pound mode relatively early. Get in a big 2 TE set and pound it with Cross for a quarter or more. This team needs to be dynamic for Wisconsin, and for that to happen we need improved health for our WR core. Get AA out early too.

    Another way to get Bell / Enunwa some rest, lets see what Carnes has got. Put him out there. Get some RS Senior walk-ons out there.

    Seeing Turner in at the end of the game pissed me off last week when he fielded the last kickoff and limped off the sidelines. We are banged up with Allen / Wallenwaber out for the season and Marlowe struggling to finish a game. Not the time to be putting your starting slot WR on kick return when the game is over.

  • I want to see a demolition job inflicted on Iowa. No turnovers, good balance on O, AA & Heard both get 75+ yds each. Would like to see TE's have good days too. No Rex unless he's healthy. Need him for CCG.

    D dominates with multiple takeaways and 3 & outs.

    Some return yards would be nice.

    A fast start that leads to a convincing victory.

  • I will be agreeing with Skers and Lando in this thread

    And something else that Lando will agree with. If we are winning big (which we should be), I want to see back ups getting time. If we can get some early rest for the Big 10 title game, I want us to take advantage of it.

    Agreed. Like you I would also like to get our running game back on track and see how many yards we can gain on the ground. If we are able to put in Kellogg (back up QB) in again and give him more time playing in front of a crowd would be nice. Our backup QB needs more game time experience. Our huskers need to remain focused for our Friday game against Iowa. They will be out to beat us and try to ruin our chances at the Rose Bowl.

    I would like to see an old fashion Joe Jackson beat down!,,lol! No seriously a balanced and efficient offensive attack! I would also like to see more carries by Braylon Heard and Imani Cross!!
