Weekend rotation versus New Mexico

  • Huskers going out in the same order this weekend against New Mexico. Also, if you're going to the ballyard, bring a jacket. Gonna be a bit nippy.

  • Here's some info on New Mexico...

    The Lobos are 2-4 coming to Lincoln. They opened at home with two losses and one win vs Oklahoma St. Next the went to the Corpus Christi Classic and won against Texas A&M Corpus Christi. then lost to Iowa and Oklahoma. In the OU game, they came from behind, 1-5, to take an 8-5 lead then lost 10-8. OU is ranked 10 to 15 in current polls.

    Last year, the Huskers won the Corpus Christi classic 4-0.

    New Mexico is currently batting .293 while holding their opponents to .270. Last year they finished 5th in the nation in hitting with an average of .326. They also finished 6th in the nation in runs scored. Their losses this year have come late in the games. Their bullpen is failing them so far.
