We need to offer Scott already.

  • He wants the offer. He is a good prospect. And let's face it, he is the best we can probably get this year. Plus it would be nice to have a guy that has some passion to pay here.

  • I've liked Scott for some time now, and have been baffled as to why we haven't offered. It's much easier to teach a QB like Scott to run the option than it is to teach a QB like Zaire (or Martinez) to be a good passer.

  • That is what I see as well. I would rather have a qb that is 67% with 220 yards passing, and has 50 to 70 quality rushing yards. Than 55% with 150 passing and 150 garbage rushing.

    I agree with you on this. I'd rather have us bring in someone that was an established passing QB in high school. Had TMart been this, he wouldn't have spent a year away from QB on the scout team, IMO.
