She needs to stop whining. Lesson learned by all other cheerleaders -- if you are retiring from the cheer squad, make that announcement after the season has ended. The team doesn't need advance notice as there are probably hundreds of ladies waiting to take your spot.

In all seriousness, one of my closest friends was a Tennessee cheerleader the year they went to the Super Bowl. She said the weight tests, and general scrutiny about their weight, was really intense.
