This is the best thread ever because I can say outrageous things and still get UVs.
The Beatles are overrated.
The Godfather Part 3 is the best one.

You have no idea. I was living in Brooklyn, I had no AC, and one hot summer evening, I decided to walk to the corner store for a cold beverage. I get in line and there's an old man in front of me. After a second, i realize he's kind of going back and forth with the guy behind the register (can't remember what the argument was about). But it ended with, "Man, you're just a...a...jive turkey." [insert dismissive wave of hand in cashier's direction.] I just put the drink on the shelf and walked out. I couldn't not crack up after that, but I didn't want to belittle the old man's frustration.
EDIT: FYI - I'm 27, this happened a few years ago, not in the 1970s.
