That'd be so strange.
But not as strange has Stanford and UCLA playing in week 12 and then playing in the conference title game shortly afterwards.

Agreed. I would not mind waiting until next year to get revenge.
I think most of us would agree Stanford is going to be the favorite and is the better team, but I still think we would match up better v. them then UCLA. Our defense has really improved but I am still not sold on us answering our woes v. mobile passers.

Agree man. I think we can get UCLA if we played this year, but I really like our chances in Lincoln next year. Between us being faster in the front 7 and an improved OL w/ commitment to running the ball, along with them losing key players in certain spots. I can wait.

I was thinking about this last night after Stanford won...In the 15 years that we have had championship games can anyone remember a time where teams in the Title games were rematched from the week before. Obviously you always play to win but for UCLA do you want Stanford or Oregon with a chance at the rose bowl? I can't remember a situation like this ever. If Nebraska gets Stanford in the Rose Bow someone should find Peat on the sideline and take him out (JUST KIDDING).

Personally i think putting a whoopin on UCLA twice in a row would do a great amount of good for recruiting in the state of California. And thatis what it will be. A WHOOPIN.
I don't see how our defense could play any worse than it did out there.

Actually, I think NU having 2 rematches in the same season would be more strange. Sure, rematches happen in CCGs. Fairly often. But how often do you get a rematch in the CCG and another one in the bowl game? Almost an NFL schedule.
