If for whatever reason Rex doesn't dress for this game (which I don't think he won't) I would love to see Nebraska do something truly special for this kid. Rex has been THE figure of Nebraska football over the last 4 years. There is no one on the team with more respect from everyone in the country than Rex Burkhead aka Superman...
I will cheer at the top of my lungs when that young man is introduced for the last time at Memorial Stadium, and I imagine we will see some tears in the crowd. Heck I wouldn't be shocked to see Rex tear up just a bit as well.

So i did my part. I emailed Jamie Williams and Bo Pelini. not that it would make a difference but it can't hurt. I just basically said how meaningful it'd be to convince Tom to go along with this. Because even if they asked they will probably have to push it on him bc Tom isn't about getting attention.

As long as TO walks out dressed in an old school Starter jacket and that tall, rigid Husker cap, I'm for it!!
