I hope we get this locked up. The Pelini visit may have be too early -- should have sent assistants -- let Bo close the deal. Or maybe TJ is our best closer, especially with DBs.

gotta think TJ is our best closer right now... He's a master communicator and a fantastic person and coach. I think he goes in home and locks this up next week. I don't think Marcus is visiting Kentucky this weekend (reports are if he did it would be the 25th or 1st). Squash Marrow's last second advance and lock him up. He's the most talented safety prospect we have at the moment.

These are the type of battles that takes a coach to the next level in recruiting if they can win the battle. Urban Meyer is one of the best, if not the best, closer in all of college football. We got lucky that they came to Mr. Clark too late in the game or they would have been a legit threat (so far they are not).

I am so praying that this is all put to a rest next week and Mr. McWilson signs with Nebraska on Feb. 6th.

I hate saying this because I would be really sick to lose McWilson, but I can't blame Coach Marrow for recruiting immediately for his new team. That is what he is paid to do and if the young man is interested in listening to what he has to say about Kentucky that is what he should do. Obviously we just 'stole' an ISU commit and hope to 'steal' a Mississippi commit. Tried like hell to get a Washington commit to visit. Nothing immoral about it - if the youngster is not harassed / pressured too much and the message is about what you have to offer and not about trashing the other school.

I'll repeat I believe McWilson is one of the top recruits in this class and would be an outstanding safety in Bo's system for years to come. I'd hate to lose him. But what Coach Marrow is doing now is what he is paid as a professional to do - can't blame him for using his relationship with the family to see if he can flip a recruit for Kentucky. As a matter of fact if he didn't try he probably wouldn't be doing his job very well. JMO
