Not likely. EC had a 9-4 season his freshman year with better talent.
TF lost games to ISU, and FSU in '92, because he didn't yet have the talent necessary around him.
Turner lost games to Iowa, PSU, and Clemson, not to mention the 6-0 struggle over Missouri in '81, BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE OVERALL TALENT necessary to beat better teams.
The losses might have been closer last year with any of those three, but they still would have lost to Wisky, Michigan and South Carolina.
Okay, maybe they beat NW with Tommie,Turner, or Eric. Maybe they even beat Oklahoma, but in their second years on the team??????? Maybe not.
Wow, the use of selective memory is simply amazing with you boys.
