Getting him to walk on was big, you can never go wrong with 3* talent like that for nothing.

I think Rex averaged like 26 or 27 touches a game last year. I know he a candidate for the heisman but I if we get him down to 20 of 21 I think it is a good sign for our team.

If we see that happen I think it means that we are in a good spot in most games, and also shows trust in the younger backs, which i think will be crucial if we are going to make a run at a B10 title as the season wears on. To have Burkhead fresh at the end of the year would be a complement to the staff, the o-line, and the sophamore RB's.

Truth of the matter is that you brought in two 5 star running backs, now they have the experience, the offensive coordinator and running backs coaches need to find a way to get these players on the field. It is not that difficult, all of the major schools are doing it and the young players see it. Play them or we loose them.

Aaron and Ameer were both rated 4-stars. They've now been in the system about a year learning a new offense and how to play D1 CFB.

Both are doing well and will contribute much more this year. Neither is going anywhere but deep into opponents territory this year.
