  • Only two things give me worry about our team this year #1- the FB position bc will Marrow develop as a good lead blocker bc Legate was a stud... #2- will the DL make the big jump that IMO is needed... Those two things come together we will be staring down a BCS birth

  • This is the big question for next year and will be much of the reason behind either better defense or worse defense than last year. I for one am optimistic. I think Rome could be a force and Ankrah, Martin and Meredith will start to take over games from the end spot. Pierre Allen was a great DE for this system, hopefully Kaz coaches them up.

  • ESPN's College Football Live highlighted Nebraska football yesterday and they didn't have very many positive comments about the D-line. Most of their time they spent throwing Taylor Martinez under the bus but when they got around to talking about Nebraska's defense they had plenty of negative comments to share. I certainly hope the Husker defense proves them wrong. By the way-if Nebraska were an SEC team the guys at ESPN would be drooling all over themselves handing out compliments about how great the team is and how powerful the SEC is.

They also said our dline was one of the best last year, they have no idea what they are talking about. I stopped watching E$PN a long time ago because they don't actually analyze anything, they just repeat what they see on their blogs.

    agreed

I watch sporting events on ESPN, but they stopped being "analysts" years ago.
