    Again you happen to have forgotten that a lot of these kids up from this part of the country where I officiate so you tell me how close are you in California not very just another file cry. You've probably never even played a sport so try something else

    I never claimed to be close. You have.

    Even though they are in Lincoln and you're in Florida.

    I'm not so convinced that you are a confidant of any of them. Hell, we don't have that many FL kids at NU anyway.

    Adams13, I agree with you about Brion. Brion will emerge this season as our starting QB thus allowing Bo to put TM at WR where he will do a lot of damage to opposing secondaries. TM has great talent but don't think that he is a QB, every time he gets the ball in his hands he looks panicked on what to do next. I've heard people on this blog talk about all the experience he has as our QB, in my opinion experience does not equal talent. I'm not going to tear at TM about this issue: come on everyone, this is a 21 year old young man who is trying to figure out who he is and where he fits in life.

    If Brion and TM are allowed to openly compete (without strings attached from Bo) and are given equal time and competition I believe that that this will happen: 1. The open and intense competition will push TM hard and he will emerge as a championship QB or, 2. Brion will win the starting QB spot by showing that he is better than TM and will lead us to a B1G championship and maybe even a NC.

    Can we stop arguing about this issue? This issue is getting really OLD.

    I will promise anyone here that TM will never move to receiver. Will not happen. If someone else wins the job, he will be the backup, not moved to a new position.

    Check this out DA I've lived there for 18 years in Omaha Nebraska have you live there even been there so another Wrong story from you get it right. You are the one that knows everything about everything You tell me how would you know all these kids and coaches living in California ?

    Yes, it's your opinion. When did that ever have any validity beyond your little circle of friends?

    I love how you boys constantly qualify the QB competition with "if there's open, honest competition". By doing so you of course leave yourselves an escape chute should it turn out that BC can't take the job away from TM.

    Recent comments from players and coaches have stated clearly that both Marsh and Broekemeier are better QBs right now than Brion.

    When Taylor is the starter in the fall, you'll all chime in about how it wasn't an open competition, or how Bo just has to be right. Despite the fact that Beck will have the final say on who the QB is.

    I've said all along that BC will have to be BETTER than TM, not as good. All things being equal, you want your most experienced QB as your starter.

    DA, first of all I'm giving an opinion and am not making stuff up. I'm new here but after reading all the negative stuff you write it makes me wonder if your just looking for attention. You need to stop being so negative; I wasn't trying to rain on your parade just shared my thoughts. Isn't that what these blogs are all about?

When I see someone belittling someone else for having an opinion that is different from their own, I have a big problem with that. From day one on here I have seen people disagree but have had the "agree to disagree" angle but no real disrespect for one another. When I see you attack someone's opinion and have so much disrespect because of something like age, I feel like I need to say something.

    I realize you don't like it, but you trying to take me to task isn't going to change my approach one iota.

    I can honestly say that I disrespect only one person here, and it's not one of the people you keep asking me to respect. Just leave it alone, please.

I am also wondering why it took the Husker coaching staff so long in getting TM the help he needs in passing; this should of happened early last season. We'll never know if that type of pass training would of helped us win a few more games last year.

    Nobody says you have to think he is "the answer", however, when you make such a blanket statement how else is one to interpret it.

    If you want to avoid disagreement, then be more specific. A point which I tell my students constantly. Most criticism can be avoided be simply being specific.

    He certainly doesn't go deer-in-the-headlights on every play, nor in every game. It does happen. Yes, I've seen it, but as I stated, I only see it when he knows he's going to get hit, and that generally happens when his blocking collapses. Lord knows, it happened against SC and it happened against Michigan, but I don't know that I saw it in any other games this year.

    If we're going to hearken back to his freshman year, that characterization seems a bit unfair to me. He is not the same QB he was in the bowl game or against OU.

    D.A. is the classic "cry wolf" participant. He hurls insults at other post-ers on a repeat basis, but if you give him the same treatment, he whines like a little, spoiled brat. All under the guise that his opinions are more valid and fact based than anyone else's. It's pretty much a standing joke by this point.

    Of course, he almost always has the minority opinion, and by his own admission, is the guy who repeatedly has been kicked off message boards for the way he handles himself in arguments. Obviously, the trend has not changed much since he signed on here.

    D.A. is actually very good at "op-ed" types of posts. It's just that he has almost zero capacity for disagreeing opinions. He can never leave things at the "agree to disagree" level. He always has to insult the opponent to try and validate his own opinions, which is the single weakest way to try and win an argument ever invented. D.A. doesn't try to out debate anyone, he tries to out mud sling them.

    From appearances, he's a guy with little else going on in his life but to spend countless hours on these sites concocting his next melodrama. He would be much better off if he just made a few long, editorial type posts a week (something he's very good at), and then just leave it at that. Once he gets in an argument, he's likely the worst participant on the whole board. He doesn't know his limitations.

    Common man! A 9-4 season is no longer relevant in college football especially at Nebraska. DA i thought you knew that already. What was Nebraska's record when Frank Solich got waxed! Go figure! Am not nuts or spoiled if you a concerned and a true Nebraska fan a 9-4 season is unacceptable and like Osborn stated today that sort of record threatens fan base. Our standards are much higher than that! Whats's yours?
