Anyone who thinks Auburn or Arkansas (aka 'Neckville 1 and 'Neckville 2) are better jobs than Nebraska needs to get slapped back to reality.

I can't stop laughing thinking about Bo standing up in front of the Arkansas press conference doing the woo pig suey thing.

  • I'm sure that Mary Pat would absolutely love for her children to grow up in 'Neckville, where a large part of the population does not view Catholics as real Christians.

It's so ridiculous. Nebraska fans may sit in the corner and watch but Arky fans take their pants off and make it weird.

Not sure how much I believe this, but apparently some people think Pelini desires a 'bigger' job. I think some people outside of the 402 dont realize how invested he is in this program and players. What do you guys think...This is via ESPN's website.

'This past summer I talked to a veteran Big Ten observer who believes that Pelini desires a bigger job and would strongly consider a return to the SEC given the right situation,' Miller wrote. 'While it is unknown if either party would be interested if there is an opening on The Plains, (Auburn president Jay) Gogue should strongly consider reaching out to Pelini...'

Always expect the unexpected! But I hope Bo stays,,,,,,,,Go Nebraska beat Minnesota!!

  • Let's see---Martinez is coming into his own as a QB with his senior year ahead--and behind him are Tommy and Johnny as bona fide QBs. And that's just one aspect of the program that truly seems to have turned the corner into a cohesive team that is developing its own internal work ethic and leadership persona. And the coach who did all this heavy lifting is going to bolt for a sketchy situation in the SEC? That doesn't hang together for me.

Also, with his kids getting into their middle & high school years, I don't think a family guy like the coach is would want to uproot them at this time.

  • I think that Bo will leverage the uncertainty around his departure to get Eichorst's unequivocal backing (and perhaps more cash for his staff) and then quells rumors.

I don't see Bo going anywhere at this point. He's just starting to hit his stride. NU is just now becoming 'his' program with system, people and recruits firmly in place. The rebuilding is over. Why would he want to walk away from what he's created for some better recruiting turf, just as much scrutiny, a bit more money and a lateral move? Unless things fall apart in the next couple of years, I don't buy that Bo goes anywhere until one of the big boys - Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Georgia, Florida et al - come knocking, which is at best a few years out.

Big Red Phoenix, I think I can take it a step further....Imagine Bo screaming WPS to excite the Arky fans while wearing a turtleneck and cuddling a cat.
