Just announced on the S&N show that Matt Schick is going to be the new co-host with Severe.

Update: Jason Peter is doing the morning show. And he jokingly saif that they will talk about Husker football from the 90's for 4 hours a day 365 days a year.

I think Matt will do a great job. Too bad to see the S&N show end but I don't know if there was anyone else around that could even come close to filling KK's shoes besides MS.
BTW Schick was really holding back tears when talking about Bahe (not hosting today). Pretty touching moment. You could always tell that they truly liked each other and IMO that is what made their show so great.

Yeah Sad to see Schick and Nick end. They were very good together and very funny. If you were looking for sports coverage it wasn't the place to go but it was an entertaining 3 hours. Was a little sad to see Schick get chocked up over Nick being out of a job. Hard to believe they will find a better local show to replace it. They are gunna announce the new morning show host this afternoon on USC. Not real excited about it.

All they said was he was "going to pursue other opportunities". They made it sound like he had a chance to stay and do the morning show with someone else but he didn't want to do it without MS. They probably will have more info this afternoon.

Canceling S&N makes no sense to me. If I wanted the same old sports radio there are any number of national shows that do that. In fact, I could listen to USC in the afternoon (which I do). S&N was a different kind of sports show and it is a shame it is over.

I have heard several times that Jason Peter will be involved. Wonder who his co-host will be. IMO Peter is really hard to listen to. He knows his stuff but there is just something about him that makes him hard to listen to. My guess is this show will be short lived anyway. I will be having flashbacks to his bad show on 1480.

Nope No co-host yet. The position is posted on their website so I am guessing they are still looking even though they most likely have someone in mind.

sucks, Bahe and Schick really made my mornings better. Bahe has to be the funniest guy ive listen to on the radio. When Schick got choked up you could really tell that the show ending and Bahe moving on was weighing heavily on him. I personally dont like USC at all and cant stand Sevre (ive met him and he was a douche, which helped confirm my dislike for the show) so it looks like ill be losing out on both of them

Dirk isn't good enough on the radio to be a host. He would serve the same role as Peter so I doubt it is him. I think the trade was a joke. They said the host was a player to be name later. Mike'l just joked that it was a trade. I don't know who they could get from a sister station. John Bishop and Jack Mitchell have very good gigs so I doubt it would be them. As they say in radio I guess we will just have to stay tuned.
