The grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence to these Husker players. We need to change that attitude somehow. We need to be able to get these kids to commit to their home state.

I've said this is a couple threads, but Mike Gesell is the kind of point guard Tim Miles needs in his offense. I also think that if Miles and his staff had a year to recruit him, he'd be at Nebraska and not Iowa.

I really wish that we had Gesell...
I am hoping the combo of Biggs and Webster make me forget about missing out on him though.

Iowa has lost some close games and has given up leads late in games. They are probably closer to being a 21-5 team than a 17-9 team.

Rivers played a really fantastic game defensively today... though Talley stepped up in a HUGE way in the second half the tone was set by Rivers' play the entire game.

Would've loved to be at the Bob for the game. I did take a time out from the baseball game to hear the final minute or so....
