Report: Braylon Heard to Transfer

And the hits just keep coming... I know he's a good back but he ran too straight up and down for my taste and he didn't like blocking. It will be interesting to see where he transfers to. He has a redshirt year, so he'll have two more years of eligibility remaining if he transfers D1.
That being said, this would hurt a lot more if we didn't get Newby and Taylor in this class.
the big down side is that we now have 27 open schollies and there's no way we can get to that number this class.

Well there is talent out the door. Can't believe we didnt have our crap together. We switch him to corner. Then switch him back. Then we don't give him very many carries even though he had the highest average ypc. Also he was the RB with the most speed. Don't blame him for leaving.

He never seperated himself? 52 carries to Ameers 226? Something is not right with that carry distribution

Your joking right? Cross is no good so far? He did GREAT things with his limited carries this year, he pounded the rock and moved the chains, he is a great back up option for AA. For a FR he was awesome in short yardage. How did Heard get screwed by the staff? He is fast and shifty, if he practiced EVERYTHING that RB's do he would have had more carries. Can't pass pro? Can't play. That simple. he got the number of carries he deserved. Heard is an amazing talent, and i wish he would stay, his speed and vision are superb, but if you don't develop your game in full, your not going to be a starter. AA does it all, so he plays.

oh give me a break... seriously? Game time... that's all you have to go on. These coaches see these players practice, compete and condition and weight lift day in and day out.

Not anything you haven't heard before, but his pass blocking and picking up keys were holding him back. Newby and Taylor better be the real deal.

Ameer wouldn't have gotten nearly that many had Rex been healthy all season. Rex had 98 only playing in 8 games.
