I aint shy, just sich of kids acting like they are free agents in the nfl, and colleges being able to giva a kid a year to year scholarship based on thier performance, if you offer a kid a full ride, give him a full ride unless he chooses to leave or violates policies and rules set in place. Just cause a kid is underperforming or gets hurt doesnt give you the right to give his scholarship to some hot shot 17 year old senior. It should be a 4 year contract like most think it is, schools should not be able to oversign, for example look at every SEC class, and compare it to the amount of Scholly's they have available, its rediculous. And im sick of watching ESPN trying to get my updates on sports and have to watch an hour long special on how great Notre Dame is, thats recruiting enough to any undecided athlete out there, im pretty sure we started to go through this with texas when in the big 12, happy to see they are still sub par, but if we are gonna make scholarships equal the media needs to make the exposure equal as well, cause honestly if were growing up in this day and age, id listen to the media, and when you hear before the season how great USC is, and ya look at their recruiting classes, its not a lack of talent, its leadership, I liked Monte Kiffen when her was here but his son is an offensive idiot, I could have called plays better than that in the Notre Dame game and the last down I palyed of football was in high school, I did play college hockey but, I under stand the fact that ya gotta get kids to buy into you pholosophy and trust you, if you dont, your just another guy telling them what to do that they are gonna give ya the "whatever dude, my future is already planned out" and how many 5 stars out of high school have ya seen be total flops in the NFL, or not even make it there, star ratings are crap, its all in the exposure the kid gets

Im a new poster here actually just got my membership minutes ago, spent too much time looking at what others are posting, so here i am, my thoughts on Lacouture is he is an over rated kid who has read way too many newspaper clippings on how great he is, im from Nebraskal, seen him play and not impressed at all, there are other kids on the DL that havent been recruted at all that id rather take than him, then his comments via twitter a few weeks ago about priest willis eliminating us. Just an immature kid thats gonna stack up to nothing trying to infuence a stars decision. Honestly I dont think we get willis, I think he will go to UCLA, wish we could land him, we all know we could use him, but its tough to drow a west coast kid to the mid west. And Newby yeah he is a great running back and it would be a luxury to land him, but honestly im more than happy with the one we have committed currently as long as he doesnt decommit at the last moment as we've had happen many times over the last decade. I was dissappointed to miss out on Hooks, thought we had a good shot at Bradley (still yet to pick) and that TE that committed to Miami, its just a toss up anymore, seems the BIG gets screwed on recruiting cause they dont treat it like the SEC and have a free agency and are alowed to over sign by so many recruits, every conference should live up to the same rules, and for god sakes make Notre Dame join a conference, im so sick of listening to espn about how great they are, they will get pounded by alabama by at least 20+ and USC would have beat them if they didnt have lane as their coach, way too much wasted talent, thank yuou, and ill post more, since im on here every day
