We need to get a few things straight...
Nobody in the system or in the recruiting pipeline is going to replace Taylor Martinez. The only chance that was going to happen was if Brion Carnes went super nova and TM flat lined. Not happening. If TM plays 2012 as the starter, he becomes virtually un-replaceable in 2013.
For that reason alone, a JuCo Qb is of no value. Carnes will be an able bodied back up the next two years, Tommy Armstrong will red shirt, and we will find a new QB recruit to get excited about by the fall.
