  • I love the excitement around our team right now, but I wish the fan base would revert back to the one game at at time mentality. We are in a great position, but I fear a lack of focus on these last two games. Wisconsin is going to be tough in the Conference Championship Game, I'm not buying my ticket to Pasadena. I would love nothing more than to see this team win out, but any given day. GBR!!

  • Not buying my ticket....yet!

  • I'm not buying my ticket to Pasadena. However, I am FEARING playing Wisconsin again. I hate rematches.

  • So do I, we've barely been beating some mediocre teams. I want to see this team firing on all cylinders and put a complete game together.

I get what you're saying but...why? It's not like fan expectations affect the team. The only ones who'll get hurt by losing is those fans choosing to get their hopes up.

  • I don't know if I agree with that. As much as players try and stay away from the media, in the modern world, it's impossible. If the fans already have the mindset that we will be playing in the Rose Bowl I think that can trickle down to some of the players. Give them the mindset that they are already there. I know Bo and company will harp on the fact that we have three more ball games to win, but I still think some of the guys can get caught up in the idea. Minnesota isn't a great football team, but they're capable. The Hawkeyes are awful, but would love nothing more than beating us. I hope the senior leadership that has carried this team in the exciting comebacks will keep everyone on track. I would love to see us make a statement as we finish out this season.

  • Well, I bought Rose Bowl tickets so.........

This team will not let stuff get to their heads. They never quit even when they are down. The seniors are the leaders of this team and they are playing their last games and they care about their legacy; their passion will be contagious to the younger players and they will handle their business with Iowa and Minnesota. That much I know. The CCG, will be a challenge. I hate rematches. This team has given us a reason to trust them, so be a fan and get on the wagon. There is enough kool-aid to go around. GBR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You can buy your ticket to Indy. but I would hold off on buying one to Pasadena. Rose or Outback for Us.
I hope I don't have to see SF's ugly mug on Jan. 1

  • It's a good thing fans aren't playing then biggrin I doubt the players are looking past minnesota...they should know better. Especially with it being senior day.

Agreed. Our guys want to send the seniors off with another home victory so hopefully our huskers with be ready. No doubt the seniors will be pumped and ready to go.blackshirts

We do need to get back to the one game at a time thinking and I'm sure Bo will keep the staff and players focused on tomorrows game.
