As a long time Chiefs fan I have always been a fan of Tony Gonzalez. He set the standard for today's NFL tight end. It is sad to see the career of a great athlete and great person most likely come to an end. Best of luck to you Tony. Canton will be calling in five years. Once a Chief....always a Chief!

I would love to see Gonzalez back next year for one last crack at it even though I am a fan of the Bears and that would make ATL the favorite in the NFC. That team gets less and less effective offensively without him. Julio Jones and Roddy White are freaks, but they benefit on the outside by Gonzales taking up room in the middle.

I wish the Chiefs would offer him a 1-2 year deal, just so he could retire here. Best TE to play the game, wish he would've gotten a ring.

I definitely don't see ATL as favorites in the NFC. I think they're too soft as a team. Need to get a few linemen and a running game. Plus, that defense has no pass rush and John Abraham is 36.
