An all Catholic basketball conference would be very good indeed and Creighton would need to give serious consideration to join.

There's many other Jesuit schools out there that aren't in the Catholic 7 and they are all good basketball schools. Xavier, St, Joseph's, Duquesne, Boston College, Notre Dame, the list goes on and on. They could have a 16 team conference easily and it would be solid.

Yep. Some good ones on the West Coast too. Gonzaga, St. Mary's...

if you haven't noticed I hate Creighton and hope the worst for them. they deserve the worst.

Every time something positive is posted about Creighton, the losers come out to type their drivel. Mommy didn't make them do their chores this week and they have nothing better to do.

Ignore them. Instead, pity them for the sad lives they lead.

I like them too and laugh when i see all the hate they get in there own state from Husker fans outside of Omaha..Atleast they are doing great right now,not like the husker basketball..Huskers spent all that money and still cant land any Great players and even missed out on the 1 top player in the state..

Creighton seems to always get lucky when replacing coaches,unlike our dear old Husker Team which has sucked for some years now..Only time will tell if we have made the right choice on hiring Miles...

So? We ended up number two on his list AHEAD of the Craytin cretins. Our pg commit is more talented than anyone Craytin is signing. We also have the worst basketball history in perhaps all of the major conferences so we have a lot going against us. Enjoy the last few years of craytins basketball relevancy in the state, soon they will be an after thought.

From my experience its the trash talk that the creighton fans do. I went to plenty of Creighton games over the last couple years. Eventually i found myself cheering against them. I usually would go simply to save myself from the dangers DT Lincoln provides for me. (1 dollar shots are a bad thing, not a good thing) It always seemed i'd end up hitting on some drunk creighton chick who'd try to explain how amazing Creighton was and how I should come to creighton and stuff. I never wore the crieghton shirt but never wore a husker shirt either. She'd ask, "where's you blue" and i'd try to explain my story, next thing you know its this chick and her 2 friends chiming in about how much better omaha is and all this junk.

This happened several times with random people i'd encounter, and it gets really tiring.

I don't hate Craytin at all, before I lived in nebraska I liked them. Then I worked in Omaha and apparently they don't like husker basketball which chaps my rear because husker basketball teams are goofy fun and cull of character like shenanigans(the restaurant). Plus some guy in this thread talked trash on NU which is the only reason I got chippy. It's like why be a husker football fan then trash the bball team bro? Bro are you even a real Nebraskan?

Anyways IMO a large majority of their fans will fade if the huskers are consistently better because 90% are husker fans mainly but don't have the spine to support a bad program so they cheered for Craytin. Once we are better they will switch back and Craytin will have an even smaller fanbase.

It's unfortunate really because a persons split fan hood can be a window into the soul, it shows that you just can't trust em and has been useful for me in the past. I once dumped a girl when I found out she was a jay-sker. How can I trust you Monica if I know you cheer one way on Saturday then against that same team on Tuesday? I knew she would probably start two timin me after we got married just like she was doing to the beloved huskers. I mean shoot if cookie miller can't keep you happy girl, how can i? So I did the smart thing and cut her loose, she never did return the ring(good thing it wasn't a real diamond).
