So your fan base can chant "F*** Nebraska" all they want but, one kicker jogs on the field and its heresy?? Got it. B1G logic I suppose.

Hahaha no wonder everyone hates Ohio, you guys are complete douchers, and 90% drunk dumbasses. Being in the shoe was like being in block party at a Council Bluffs trailer park.

    Hey! I resent that.

Next time you're over this way, look me up. I'll introduce to some of that block party 'talent'. The phrase "Trailer Park Trash" is not all bad - if you know what I mean. [wink]

Blame your D for not stopping the run... Urban was running plays that should of chewed up 3-4 yards at most. If yall cant stop that, then its on yall... not the other team.

Btw dotting the I is a big deal for us OSU fans/alum's/players, etc. I dont know yall's traditions and frankly they arent my concern, but if your team messes with a tradition yall need to own up to it and stop being whiney little bitches. I'm not sure if it was on purpose or not, and I dont really care. I do know that once the kickers saw they were in the wrong they should of left the field.

This thread was created by an OSU fan whining to us champ, not the other way around.

  • I posted in the thread over on Bucknuts about this noting that while annoyed, the halftime show was running late. It was a much bigger show than we typically put together, so we ran into the warm up time.

They also moved forward enough to not interfere with Script Ohio, so I'm sure it was just an innocent warm up.

As far as our fans go, we have loudmouth jerks just like any group. Overall though I feel as if we tend to be fairly friendly, while enjoying being a bit obnoxious. Internet forums give people a voice that aren't necesarily an accurate cross section of our fan base. Every area I was in nobody said anything negative to a Nebraska fan, and I couldn't hear the "F Nebraska" cheer, but I don't doubt a bunch of drunk students chanted it.

Anyways, getting off base. I consider Nebraska my second favorite CFB team, Wife's family all went there and still lives out West for the most part. I don't think a minor event like this should or will damage relations between fan bases. I look forward to getting to play you guys in a conference championship game some day, hopefully soon.

  • This thread really ticks me (Buckeye fan) off. I met several Husker fans at tailgates yesterday and had a great time. Don't judge all of us by the idiots posting here, 95% of us want no part of this garbage

I thought u dotted the i pregame? was this at halftime? Im confused. Idk why u are bitching about it here when none of us were able to see it happen. And if they were toward the sideline and not in the way at all I dont see the big deal. Our game preparations cant stop because your band is on the field.

Reason it was done at halftime was because Saturday was homecoming and they did all the homecoming announcement stuff pre-game.

No problem. Look, Devidee is an idiot, but he's our idiot. He's been hanging here since the beginning. He's the trashy balance to all the welcomes we've gotten.

  • Watch the language and the personal attacks here.

For what it's worth, Brett Maher is the last person on Nebraska's team who would purposefully mess with a team's tradition. Period.

Thanks rson! As Husker fans, we understand tradition and principals. Most of us agree that what transpired lastnight was messed up. But what can we do as fans? Not much. Or nothing. It's like Husker fans blaming Buckeye fans for Urb having his 1st string in there with a minute left and scoring a TD. No point in it and its invalid. Will root for tOSU the rest of the way. Good luck!!!

If that's true, no offense but, he's completely ignorant.

There were 105,000 people telling him to get off the field.

  • Yes. Really.

It was the most obvious possible thing in the world to realize he shouldn't have been on that field.

Either the kid flat out didn't care or he is basically dumb as a stump.

or he was more worried about playing the game than your dotting the i. Maybe he didn't know u were doing it during half time since u normally do it pregame.

who really cares tho, sounds like it was a pretty innocent thing you are blowing out of proportion.

No, our players aren't high and don't tweet that school is stupid. Maybe he wanted to warm up like he does before the start of every other 3rd quarter. Its your personnel's fault for not telling him he can't warm up

    Nothing.

I don't believe I asked anyone here to do anything.

Which is why you coming here and saying that it will never be forgotten, like we had anything to do with it, is ridiculous.

  • Its a Nebraska tradition to be good at kicking field goals, and that involves practice. Maybe we should be offended that the OSU band interfered with our warm-ups.
