I like Nebraska. Still do. I was very pleased when I heard they were joining the B10 because I thought they were a great fit. One of the reasons I was so pleased was because I thought Nebraska fans understood the pagentry of college football, and that it's the traditions that help make it so special. I find it hard to believe that fans of such a storied program do not understand either the pagentry or significance of what has been called by some the greatest tradition in all of college football...the dotting of the 'i". It certainly had no affect on the game. But for either the players, coaches or fans of a program with the historical prestige of Nebraska to not understand the lack of class that was shown by those idiots who went out to practice a couple field goals, is truely amazing. It's not a sin to admit something is wrong or a mistake was made. Your players and/or coaches were wrong last night. Very wrong. And if some of you don't understand that, then perhaps the Big East would be a better fit.

One thing's for sure - everything is not for everyone.
I'm one who agrees with you in this matter. And I'm a little perplexed by the responses in this thread. The 'Ohio Script' is one of the most honored traditions in college football. I honor college football so, I honor the 'Ohio Script'.
I have no idea why our kick team entered the field at that time so I won't comment on it. I do know that respect for Grand Old Traditions began long before last night. TV coverage, at one time, would cover Script the event. Today, not so much. Commercials and commentary reign supreme, you know. Still, I was sorry to learn that had happened.
Do you think it was the reason Urban didn't take a knee at the end of the game?

I doubt he even knew about it. But like I said, people should be willing to admit when something is done that is wrong...and Meyer should have taken a knee. No reason to run a play there. I also think he should have sent in the subs after Smith scored the second to last touchdown.

So your fan base can chant "F*** Nebraska" all they want but, one kicker jogs on the field and its heresy?? Got it. B1G logic I suppose.
Hahaha no wonder everyone hates Ohio, you guys are complete douchers, and 90% drunk dumbasses. Being in the shoe was like being in block party at a Council Bluffs trailer park.

Blame your D for not stopping the run... Urban was running plays that should of chewed up 3-4 yards at most. If yall cant stop that, then its on yall... not the other team.
Btw dotting the I is a big deal for us OSU fans/alum's/players, etc. I dont know yall's traditions and frankly they arent my concern, but if your team messes with a tradition yall need to own up to it and stop being whiney little bitches. I'm not sure if it was on purpose or not, and I dont really care. I do know that once the kickers saw they were in the wrong they should of left the field.
