Nebraska falls at Iowa

Nebraska dug itself a hole, and went cold in the second half as the Huskers fell 74-60 to Iowa.

Thanks for the write up on the game, Michael..What a choice for the tourny. Purdue or Illinois, huh! Guess i'd take Purdue as Illinois is playing very well right now...

I'd also take Purdue. Illinois is one of those teams with outstanding talent but they don't play as a team. If they ever got all their starters on the same page they'd be a very tough out.

I watched the game. Just a few things I noticed. 1 - Iowa is better than their record. 2 - Nebraska is better than their record. 3 - the refs boned the Huskers a few times in the first half. But after the smoke had cleared I must say that I am very proud of the job Tim Miles has done. Once he gets a few more of his recruits on the floor we will see the Nebraska men's basketball program on the rise.

I think I mentioned this in the game thread and I agree with you. Miles can flat out coach and the future is bright for both programs. It will be a fun game to watch for a long time.

Good writeup. I know this is no big revelation, but the 2nd half performance was that of a tired team. Miles has done a great job actually showing game management and adjustment.
