The team looks terrible today

A PG would help, but not much. This team just stands around waiting for someone else to make a play right now. Truly pathetic. I haven't seen effort in this game on either end of the floor unless it's from Rivers.

ha, no. I just think it's pathetic that we are running the same offense Doc ran against the zone... stand around and wait way to long to pass then put up a desperation shot. Same stuff.

Not always. Filling in for Bruntz today. He's our go-to basketball officianado.

That's because we don't have a PG that can penetrate and force the zone to collapse. The zone is a perfect D for our lack of athletes offense. To beat a zone you need a good PG that can get in the lane and pass, and you need good shooters on the perimeter... we have neither

Impressive run from Nebraka here. 45-37. Talley nails a 3-pointer, Gesell races up the court, Rivers swats him off the glass and Talley finishes with the layup.

But one of you normally covers it from the arena? I ask because the Iowa site doesn't and I wish they would.
