I'm very proud of our D and am very happy to see how far they have come.

  • "Maybe I've reduced the amount of calls in some instances with what we've done in specific situations," Pelini said. "I've altered philosophically what we've done a little bit, not a lot. We've stayed within the same structure, but limited certain areas of it to allow them to play fast and aggressive with a greater amount of understanding."

Wtf? shrug maybe Bo has a future in politics...? lol

I watched this live today and was wondering when this quote would make its way to the discussion board.

I think it's a sign of Bo doing what needs to be done. Mature move as a coach. Maybe next time this happens he won't wait until its do or die. The team is going to be young for the next couple years as we play catch up for the poor '08 and '09 recruiting classes. I think it will saya lot about Bo over the next year or two as to how he handles the inexperience and eases them into this complex scheme

I think your right on about Bo's maturing and starting to make changes when needed. This is a good thing for all of us and am glad to see it.

  • Lets just hope they don't have a relap's back to screw ups and missed play's ..Mich St will be a tough game on the road and we don't need to make it easier for them..

  • "That's always my philosophy, stop the run and make them one-dimensional," Pelini said.

This is going to be critical against MSU. Stop Bell, and our DB's should be salivating.

  • What do you mean maybe you have reduced some things, c'mon Bo! This is his stubbornness coming out. You didn't compromise your values or character - own it and don't make excuses, damn!

Doesn't it feel good when they get get "IT"??!! Roll with it Bo, sheesh.

With that being said, good for Bo. He helped his guys out, he adapted so his guys could be more aggressive, and it paid off in dividends!!

It was one game, now duplicate it and improve upon it. Great job by the players and coaches.
