NC game who do you think gets in

  • If ND loses to SC.
SEC champion is guaranteed a spot. (Bama) but against who?

    UF may lose to FSu
Oregon, may not even win their division.
UGA just lost to Bama in my scenario
LSU and Tamu has 2 losses.
Ksucks seems to be out of it.
    ND with 1 loss.
Oops didn't even mention FSU with 1 loss

  • we might be looking at all SEC again. Which would blow.

    Bills2

  • A 2-loss team should never be ahead of most 1-loss teams. Never. Ever.

  • And I don't want to hear any buts, your not great if you've lost twice. Don't care what conference your in.

I absolutely HATE seeing 2 loss teams in the National Championship. (I dislike 1 loss teams as well honestly!)

However, I know we would both agree to some exceptions. I think a 1 loss Louisville should be rated behind several 2 loss teams.

I know this is awful, but I really hope Ohio St. loses to Michigan next week (providing we beat Iowa.)

I just stand the idea of that undefeated team not being able to play for a National Title. I'm not a Buckeye fan at all, but it will make me feel like I am being cheated out of the best team on the year.

Right now, I think ND takes USC. I've been saying for the last few weeks that I think the Irish are the best team in college football and despite their offensive woes, I'm sticking by it. I think they defeat the Trojans and go to the NC game. I think they can take Bama too.

I would absolutely hate to see another SEC champion and I thought we were past that with the Tide losing last week. The SEC title game will be between Alabama and Georgia in all likelihood. (Maybe Florida in G-Tech knocks them off. Not likely, but you never know. )

That winner will surely be in the National Title game (providing some weird end of season upsets.)

So we have Bama/Georgia v. ND. If ND loses vs. USC next week, then I guess we would have Bama/Georgia v. the winner of the Florida/Florida St. contest? (Providing FSU would also go on to win their conference title game - which would appear likely.) Does FSU have enough juice to jump in the polls?

Possible scenario's in order of likelihood.

    1. ND v. Bama
    2. ND v. Georgia
    3. Bama v. Florida
    4. Bama v. Florida St.
    5. ND v. Florida
    6. ND v. Florida St.

I have seen some people mention LSU and Texas A&M, but I don't know how either of them could make such a large jump seeing they don't play a ranked team next week and won't be in their conference title games (pending huge upsets.)

FSU can not make the NC game. Too many teams in front of them and computers hate them. If ND loses, it will be UF or Oregon.

I think a win over Florida as well as a conference title could propel them IF either Georgia or Bama lose this week and the loser topples their opponent in the SEC title game. Not going to happen anyway.

I guess I've completely forgot about Oregon still being alive.

I am gunna Go Bama vs Oregon. I think Bama beats UGA so that would removed them. ND loses to USC so they are out. Oregon best OSU. Florida loses to FSU. FSU is too far back so they don't have enough steam to get back up to the top. KSU loses to Texas to put them completely out. A&M is already out with 2 loses as is LSU.
