Moss is ready to sign

Which teams are still courting the defensive end and who is Avery Moss recruiting to join the 2012 class?

  • You always hear about how genuine and straight forward Bo and his staff is. Good to know that's really true. Any coach can treat you that way, but then once you are signed they don't need to anymore so they don't. I think that goes on a lot and I'm glad it doesn't happen at Nebraska.

  • I hear recruits, and not just this year, talking about interactions with other players to help sway them to commit and/or stay with Nebraska. Is this something the coaching staff suggests to the recruits to contact other players? It is probably NCAA legal for players to talk to each other about their recruiting to individual schools. I'm not sure about the effectivenss of these interactions but it seems like it should help.

  • I always think it's a little petty to point fingers at any other coach or any other program. Coaches recruit, period. They do what they can to win over recruits.

I'm sure a Head Coach doesn't enter into the SEC thinking that they all eat cupcakes and ride ponies.

I don't know if that was "pointing figures." Mentioning the poster-boy for one of the most controversial issues in college football seemed like a naturally way to go from that quoted post.

  • Looks like it improves our chances with Peat. I like the potential of this guy, might take a couple of years though

Remember, he has only been playing for a couple of years, he is still very raw.
