Met Zack Bowman tonight in Omaha...... Class Act!!

My wife and I were out on date night (have two kids) so it happens once every two months or so and we were having a couple of drinks and this young man introduces himself as Zack and buys us a shot. Later in the conversation I asked him what he did for a living and he was like " CB for the Chicago Bears". On the inside I was like "HOLY SH%T" outside kept it calm. Very low key individual and a great guy.
It was Zack Bowman and I have to say he was a class act and very well spoken and after hanging out with him for about an hour he called it a night.

I sure wish Bowman would have had the chance to play under Pelini and Sanders.
The way Cosgrove f'ed with him and basically wasted two years of the young man's life is criminal if you ask me.
After he turned in his blackshirt due to how pathetic the D was and nobody followed his lead made me a fan for life. Kid flat out knows what it means to be a REAL Blackshirt.
And he spells his first name correctly, which is also a bonus for me.

I was just thinking of Bowman after Manningham made the great catch in the Super Bowl.
It brought back memories of his great play for us in the Alamo Bowl, where he knocked a pass away from Manningham in the end zone.
I thought at that time he would have a great senior season for us, but he was injured and it was not to be. Still it is great that he is doing well and has a great career in the NFL going for himself.

How about when Mario was streaking downthe sideline as everyone rushed the field and it wasn't even Over yet. If not for Zach keeping his head in the game, Michigan would have been the 2007 Alamo Bowl Champs. Always been a big Zach Bowman fan.
