Martinez just had to talk and take away all optimisim I had

  • "Maybe I might go back to my old way. Maybe I won’t. It’s a game situation. So whatever comes out of me, comes out."

I don't know the context here, but my guess is he's being a little bit mischievous with this answer...you know that is not what he really thinks; especially after the dedication he's put forth to do anything that would lead to reverting to his old ways.

  • Yeah, Im out of context here as well, but I have to assume he's just trying to make his naysayer ears' bleed. I love it.

No, the INS isn't chasing him; Taylor Martinez just runs like that. . . .

Actually, TM IS better with the press. Much better than his early days.

This is just a good example of someone getting back at reporters who are too dim witted to ask anything new.

Sure it's a big question, but 5 days to opening kick off ought to tell you that it's time to wait and see the results instead of constantly badgering people over this. The "proof", one way or another, will be there for all of us to see soon enough.

  • That is confidence speaking and coming out IMO and its something Taylor has not had. Kudos to him and I look forward to Taylor tearing up the BIG this year.

After watching the news conference, it became abundantly clear that Bo as well as Taylor and the other players were very patient with the reporters and the questions that have been asked repeatedly since this spring. Bo and Taylor took the time to walk the reporter slowly through the answers. Either we have more reporters with ADD or they take poor notes, as much of what Bo and the players were asked has been chewed on and regurgitated many times.

I know, Sam, had you been able to attend all of the practices some of this repetitiveness would have been absent. biggrin

Nah, you missed it. You've got the wrong take on that quote. TM was having some fun with the reporters and demonstrating a little moxie in handling questions. A big improvement, IYAM, over his pass press appearances.
