It's worked very well on the other sites. I've been watching closely for the past month. Each person that starts their own thread can choose to keep it private. Obviously much of the content posted will be private as well.

Some things I am missing that was on the old site is the Huskers roster, depth chart, ability to see rosters by position, basketball roster, football and basketball schedules. Wondering if those will be added.

Yes, we are working on those things. I would expect schedule to be the next thing you'll see in the next week or so.

We've alluded to this in the past, but for all the new folks that have joined us ...
We're going to let the users have a big say in what we name this board. It has a generic title right now, and some early names have been thrown around in previous threads.
That said, we'll unleash an "official" help name the board thread later this month - after we make a couple more announcements and you all help us bring over some more folks to enjoy this rapidly growing and amazingly vibrant community!
As we all know, it's the community that makes the board. The name of the board doesn't make the community. And as about 100% of you folks have told us, you're much happier with the way this board is run, it's maturity level, the fact that it's on-topic, no personal attacks, no posters with the sole intention of flaming, etc.
That pretty much sums it up.

Interesting comment in this post. 1981? I assume that was print only for a number of years. When did HI first have an online presence? (After, of course, the great leader Al Gore blessed the universe with inventing the internet....)

Can't wait for the added partnership the OWH will add. I really like the Mobile feature as it is quick to load and navigate from my Android! Nice work guys
