Kevin Kugler is moving on

Hadn't seen anything posted yet about it, but apparently he's quitting unsportsmanlike conduct to focus more on play-by-play. Always been impressed with him calling games, so I think it will be a good move.
Wonder who will replace him on the show.

I knew it was only a matter of time before this happened. I listen to these guys everyday. Good luck to him, he's awesome at what he does and for the sake of the show,probably irreplaceable. Kugler and severe made a great show, sad to see their time together end. So who's next DB ?

Believe he will have an expanded role on BTN, as well as continue his work with the NFL and NCAA games. He tweeted that he would also continue to host Big Red Wrapup on NET. The guy's a pro and works his tail off. I'll be interested to see who takes over for him on unsportsmanlike conduct.

Kugler is a great radio host and a great play by play guy. I am excited to see what his roll will be on the BTN. I don't think DB will be the new host, just from listening to him on 1620 I am pretty sure he likes what he is doing.
It'll be very interesting to see if they get a local guy to take his place.

good for Kugler, great play by play guy. never been a huge fan of unsportsmanlike conduct, im just hoping this doesnt have effect on the funniest show on radio- schick and nick.

Does schick get called up? I could see severe and shick doing a nice job? I think it would be easier to replace shick in the am than Kugler in the pm. Idk helP me out with some thoughts peeps.

Schick and Bahe have good chemistry, I think. Guessing they'll bring somebody else to pair up with Severe.

Breaking up those two would be disappointing. When they get it going there isn't any other morning show that can keep up.

Kugler moving on was just a matter of time. We have been very lucky to have him around for as long as we have. Very disappointing but I am not surprised.
I listen to S&N and USC everyday online from work. I like them both equally but for different reasons. S&N is just plain funny. They produce some quality and unique bits, play fun games, use goofy drops, ect. USC is great because Kevin is great. Without him the show will suffer. Matt Schick would be the only local guy that could even come close to filling his shoes. All the guest hosts/fill-ins for both shows are nothing special so IMO bringing Schick up is the only way to go here. It will be interesting to see what they do.

"Long-time 1620AM The ZONE sportscaster Kevin Kugler will shift into the role of national sports correspondent for the station as the Omaha native takes a post with BTN, the television network of the Big Ten Conference. Kugler will continue his relationship with the Dial-Global Radio Network as play by play announcer for NFL Football and NCAA Basketball. Kugler, who currently co-hosts "Unsportsmanlike Conduct" during weekday afternoons will now serve as analyst, interviewer and guest anchor for the show that helped catapult his successful broadcast career."
Hopefully he will do a couple Husker games on BTN this year.

Schick and Nick are 47x better than USC.
Not sure it is that close.

Sadly he was too good to keep mostly to ourselves here in Nebraska. I'm glad he stuck around as long as he did. I love USC.

Do you think S & N would pass up an opportunity to blow something like this completely out of proportion? They would have said this if it was the truth or as a joke to get fans riled up. You have no new information. Stay calm.
