  • Wow! I can see why you guys like that Adam Taylor. The kid has phenomenal vision, cut ability, size, speed/burst, and solid physical running style going for him. I'm impressed.
I can see him putting up 300+ rushing yds/game on michigan. weights_bar

He was an LSU lean before he got injured. LSU backed off and Nebraska came in. The rest is history. Many LSU folks strongly feel that missing out on him will be one of the biggest regrets of the last 20 years if he ends up having a great career here.

Whew! He probably draws quite a few comparisons to Montee Ball.

IMO, he looks to me more like an Adam Taylor. cool

Maybe he had too high of a GPA for the SEC lol.

Yeaahhhhhhhh. Just until Feb 20th. Some cornballs over there were rubbing the toes of some michigan commits. That didn't sit well with me lol. I can't stand when some of them go off praising the SEC and blah blah blah. I told them that they were a bunch of bandwagoners and they became ticked off....

In hindsight, I may have been a bit rude (they were waaaay worse, though). I look forward to go back with a friendlier attitude, even though it'll be a bit tough. I've got to shape up and keep my act together.

Did he hold an LSU offer before the injury? If so, that's a bit classless on their part, but helpful on your cause.

,One of our Buckeye commits suffered a serious knee injury this past fall. We honored the scholarship, even through the uncertainty of his recovery. I fully expect a thorough recovery, and ultimately, a fantastic career.

would you expect any less from an $EC school? and maybe you honored it but no offense you have an $EC scumbag as your coach. i had nothing against OSU and even rooted for them before joining the B1G but now that you have Urban Scum as you're coach. i enjoy hating you're team.

I can see why you don't like him. I was almost worried he was going to oversign this year. We took our 25, which I'm absolutely ecstatic about, but we may have to drop a few schollies come fall camp. I admit, I can't stand the way he talks up the SEC in some of his press conferences. He is very different from Tressel--and I like both philosophies, but Urban must win a National Championship (Which is this year!) for my Buckeyes before I begin raving about him. 12-0 is a start. How about 26-0? Yes.

  • i just hate the "win no matter what" attitude. and i also hate his dirty recruiting tactics. the fact he knowingly commits secondary violations and just reports himself knowing the NCAA won't do anything. its b.s. that he called Clark before he was even out of Nebraska on his official visit. hes a scumbag.

We never found out why we got cut from the list so quickly after Urban called him on that Sunday. Northwestern was his lead team for a long time and he cut them out just as quickly as he did with us. Once Urban called he basically showed up on your campus and committed. It was a very strange ending. He even spent time studying our WR routes and spent time at our bowl practices. I don't want to accuse any school of some shady stuff, but I had the feeling, and still do, that he got paid off to take us off his list. I don't know if that was Florida or Clemson, or even OSU.

Outside of the McWilson craziness, which is something I still can't figure out why he went to Kentucky, the way way the Clark ordeal ended is the most confusing thing to me for our recruiting for the 2013 season. Everything else that took place for the recruiting season I understood why things went good or didn't go the way we had hoped.

Haha. Well, after listening to his recent press conferences, it definitely sounds that he is striving to run a very clean program here. After that Tat crap, there is no more tolerance for nonsense. He can't play dirty here. Aggressive and tenacious? Yes, but not dirty. Now, his recruiting tactics may be a bit (Tress was like a recruiting angel in comparison).......Lol, but he is definitely one of those guys where you love him if he is coaching for your team, but hate it him if he's not. I hated him at Florida, but am starting to like him here.

One more thing: Did he really call Clark while he was still on his Nebraska visit? That's a bit classless, I'll admit. I'm elated to be the recipient of him, though. (That's an understatement)

Once again, I'm not trying to rub off as arrogant on the entire Clark course of events, but as a Buckeye, I hope you can understand that I'm thrilled to have him on our team.
