Wide receiver Ammon Barker (Sandy, Utah/Alta) committed to UCLA in early November, but will now likely decide between Hawaii and San Diego State. Barker was recruited to UCLA by Marques Tuiasosopo, who left in late December to become the quarterbacks coach at Washington.
"My coach left and I wasn't sure where I stood with them," Barker said. "They got in contact with me and said I didn't have an offer, so I've been looking elsewhere."

I would say mostly sour grapes... I can't stand the guy either (however, that goes back to his NFL days) and he seems like a slime ball to me too. But they beat us on the field and then beat us in recruiting more often than not... players that had us in their final group along with UCLA the past two years: (I know I'm missing some)
Devin Fuller
Marcus Rios
Kenny Lacy
Scott Quessenberry
Christian Morris
Terrell Newby
Priest Willis
And I know I'm missing some. We've beaten them one time... just once so far on the recruiting trail and that was only because they were really late to the party.

did Deon Hollins have us in his final group? I forgot about Ken Clark... dang. it all happened so fast I can't remember it too clearly, but that sounds right. In the end though, his doesn't hurt as bad because we got three dang good LBers anyway.
