  • i agree completely. idk why everyone is so hard on martinez for freezing in the pocket. the offensive line gave him enough time to drop back in the second half and thats it. plus it doesnt help when our WR's go out and drop the ball.

  • If you need a coach or Doc to fire you up for a big game, you don't belong on the field. I could understand not being pumped to play S Carolina St in Sept, but S Carolina in Jan it shouldn't be a problem. TM played decent, O line played a good half, D played a good half, and 1 WR showed up to play. SC fans don't get real high on yourselves the score wasn't as bad as it looked. You out played us in the 2nd half and had points fall in your laps the 1st half. NU should have been up 14-21 to 7 at half.

    Because "coaches" are there to "coach" the kids TO EXECUTE....

    If it were just up to the players, you would not need 3 million dollar a year coaches, would you?

    If the mistakes happen in one game, I would accept the "players not executing" excuse.... What we are seeing is a trend... we are regularly looking like poo poo in games against good teams. Not great teams, good teams. We are lucky to even have 9 wins this year. If the Ohio State QB didn't go down with injury... we lost that game too. We had a hard time with Wyoming and Fresno State and.... well, we had a hard time with just about everybody we played this year. That is not what I expect out of Nebraska Football.

  • Why is everyone acting like South Carolina played a perfect game? Last i checked we couldnt punt for crap we had a drive stall out at the goal line only to miss a field goal. We did not play anywhere near a perfect game and won big. We also didnt play with our best player in the second half.

    Alot of the mistakes Nebraska made with the false starts were because South Carolina's defensive line was in their head. South Carolina has one of the top defensive lines in the SEC and it cleary got to Nebraska's line.

    I don't think many here are saying your team played a perfect game. We are not worried about your team. We are worried about our team playing like Poo... We have 5 National Championships in football and we do not accept our team looking like that against anyone... there is nothing special or particular about South Carolina in this discussion. you guys had the better team and coaching and won. that is exactly what we are unhappy about. So, enjoy your win and don't worry about what we are worried about on our end. Your guys played great, our team played like fools and lost badly. Ten-4 ? It is what it is and has nothing to do with South Carolina in the grand scheme.
