Hmmm.... Zonie, that is the first I have ever heard of this. I will definitely do some research on it. How recent was this and does he still want the vegan diet? Thank you for your reply.

He's long since traveled that road, I think. I found some notes from our previous discussions...below are a few things he researched...

People who are O blood type have a different set of characteristics than people who are Type B or Type A - they are susceptible to different diseases, they should eat different foods and exercise in a completely different manner. Some believe that personality is influenced by blood type, also.

Type O was the first blood type, the type O ancestral prototype was a canny, aggressive predator. Aspects of the Type O profile remain essential in every society even to this day – leadership, extroversion, energy and focus are among their best traits.

From a purely scientific point of view, chemical analysis of the group O antigen reveals that from a structural perspective, it is the simplest blood group and it serves as the backbone for the synthesis of increasingly complex A, B and AB. These later blood groups evolved by adding other sugars onto the basic O sugar, much like a modern city might be built upon the foundations of an ancient one. Thus if the mutations that produced the A and B antigens are ancient, the gene for blood group O is infinitely older and its natural ability to aid in avoiding poor health required a heavy diet of meat for protein; whereas type A & B adapted to digest and utilize grains more readily than type O.

Another dimension testifying to the great antiquity of group O comes from the science of physical anthropology and suggests that a greater part of humanity's existence has been lived exclusively as group O.

Just some notes I thought you might enjoy.
