He might be able to fire someone at his will, but I doubt he can manufacture a job change for a guy like Barney Cotton at his own discretion. Most think BC isn't getting "fired". He's getting kicked upstairs at a prescribed time in the near future. Vince Marrow getting a job offer from Kentucky wouldn't change that timetable, assuming it exists.
