  • Well, will I be cheering for this team one last time on Thursday? Or do we advance to play the Buckeyes? one thing I know for sure, Tim Miles' crew will not give up.

  • Miles says he loved to see his guys go out there and compete, which they do but that has as much to do with TM as the players. Miles is an outstanding in game coach who sees and corrects things on the court very quickly. This will only get better as the talent and athletism level rises on the team which will start next year....woot

  • It's pretty cool to see Nebraska with a coach that is still old school in his coaching philosophy, but a very progressive and forward thinker. Excited about the future.

  • OK, so it's Purdue on Thursday evening. That's good because we owe them. Then on Friday, we'll get OSU. They're good, I'll give you that, but they can also be bad. Check that box.

So...., Saturday. We'll get the winner of MSU/Iowa. Iowa would be great and we can clean up that rubber but I suspect MSU will be the one. Tough game. I think we take it with a buzzer beater.

On to Sunday. The final. The Big Ten Championship. Who you got, guys? Believe it or not, I'm thinking the Illini. Yep, Illinois is poised for a tournament-hot run. Their heroes and goats season is about to turn good.

Now, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, if we get Illinois, we win the whole thing, right?. C'mon, guys, get real. A four game grind with our bench? Really? Let's come back down to earth, people. It'll be a good run with much to be proud of, but.... Illinois for the win.

Patience, guys. It's just not our year. Runner-up in the B1G, NIT Championship then back next year for the whole enchilada. Ohhh, yeah!
