Well, it looks like there's some 'splaining to be done.

First of all, Thank you, Josh, for the flowers. Mucho appreciated. Even as I blush a bit over your kind words. Now the 'splaining....

Here's what happened, guys. I posted a little piece over at Bucknuts in a "fun" thread. I used as much humor and good will as I could muster. I thought it went well so I clicked it in there. Josh liked it. I guess he really liked it. He liked it so well, he copied 'n pasted it here. Problem is....

There appears to be a slip betwixt the 'copy' and the 'paste'. What Josh has posted above is garbled and basically unreadable. And then, I noticed he did this at 1:30 in the morning and noticed he's edited it four times and it's still garbled. So I'm wondering - Josh, did you trip over the door sill as you left the bar, last night, and bang your head on the curb? What ever happened, I give you a solid "A+" for effort. Execution? Uh...........

At any rate, I'll shamelessly repost it now and hope it works better. Remember this was all in fun and was aimed at OSU fans. (TSUN = That School Up North)

Now, here's how I see it. There's a new B1G in town and tOSU's #1 job will be to put your heel on scUM's throat and push down hard - every year. Thereby stressing their neck muscles causing them to choke on their turkey and giblets - every year.

Next: Big Red's #1 job will be to cream TSUN's corn (in a manner they won't like much) thereby scraping that scUM off your backs and preventing any unholy rematch in the CCG.

You see, the future is preordained. tOSU will endlessly reign supreme in the Leaders Division and will forever truck over to Indy to await the arrival of the Legends Champion. Who will it be? Meechicken in a rematch? (Gag, choke, spit) Noooooooo! Hogeyes? (Hah!) Any of the Creepy Crawlies from the Legends? (Hell no!) It will be the Brave And True Huskers - every year.

Sure, Cute-Little-Sparty is a possibility. But really...., they know their place. [wink]

So there you have it. Huskers and Buckeyes. Buckeyes and Huskers. Their fates forever entwined. Enmeshed in an endless Death Spiral.

We will come to hate each other, of course. But, at least there will be great football.

Now, don't forget, it will be necessary for you guys to cheer us on through our Legends Division struggles. Even cheering for Martinez to complete all his passes while holding down your sneers and guffaws to a low roar.

Like a great Husker fan once said, "Git 'er done!"
