I have been completely enamored with this damn thing. The last 2 days has consisted of me trying to teach people how to do math correctly to no avail. So what say you Bone Yard.

The amount of idiocy going on in that thread on facebook is amazing. Me and a few other guys have laid it out step by step for people and they still dont get it. It just blows me away.

If it was written like that there wouldnt be a debate. The equation is set up to teach the order of operations, hence it being called an order of operations problem.
