  • Most of that looks fine. Four through seven is a little wishy washy as anyone can debate so and so should be ahead of so and so. Personally I would have it Northwestern, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Michigan State.

  • I'm actually not as high on Michigan. I'd say OSU, Nebraska, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Michigan...then pretty much the same. To me, 2-5 is all pretty close, though. I don't think Michigan starts to get scary for another year or two -- though, at home, I think they're favorites to beat Nebraska.

I generally have the same question on Michigan. Aren't they installing a completely new offense. Anyone know what they are likely to do at QB. Seems like a lot of change to expect them to be stellar coming off of a pretty lackluster season.

They are turning the corner to a pro formation type of offense with a down hill running scheme. They missed again this recruiting cycle on the WR front. So they will likely not be a national title contender yet until they get the difference maker at the skill position.

They have recruited something like 12 OL for the 2012 class and the 2013 class, but they continue to miss on the WR.

Most UM fans I've talked to aren't very high on next years team either... My top five would look similar to yours. I might put UM ahead of Wiscy

No, the INS isn't chasing him; Taylor Martinez just runs like that. . . .

I think Gardner is the projected starter.

I really hope Morris wins the job sooner, rather than later. Pelili's defense, when it works, does a hell of a lot better against drop back passers.

I have a feeling... and it's a hunch... that Hoke wants Gardner as a WR not a QB...

so we go 2-2 in games against... Wyoming, Southern Miss, UCLA and South Dakota State? Did he even look at the OOC schedule before predicting the records?

    Nevermind.

  • I wonder about Gradner at QB, saw a lot of throws that were no where around the receivers, he's got to really elevate his game for Michigan to be number 2 in the conference. Nebraska, Northwestern and Wisconsin should be solid. Michigan State needs to find an offense. I look for Penn State to settle in around .500, they will be dealing with depth issues for the next few years. Iowa..man Kirk has got to get some stuff going this year or he may not see the upper part of the Big Ten for a long time, and Iowa can't afford to get rid of him, his buy out is way too high.
