  • And just like that... he got a bump to a 3-star... interesting timing. Now an 83 rating.

So every commit we have is atleast a 3* except Gabe Miller.

I'm surprised Finnin is only an 82.

I am happy with this class.

yeah... given Finnin's offer list I would expect him to be rated much higher. i doubt the JUCO ranking will change much before signing day though.

  • This class is not what it should have, could have been.

    Decent. Not good enough.

  • I think your being a bit to critical. Even with the drop offs we should finish around 15-20 level class nationally....JMO but I think that is pretty good considering the circus that has been this recruiting cycle

I will say it could have been better, but I would definitely classify this group as better than 'decent' personally.

This may seem hypocritical since I am subscribing to a site primarily for recruiting info...

But I don't see how you (or anyone) can make a determination on this class -- good or bad -- before they step foot on campus. Texas and Florida State have had plenty of great recruiting classes on paper, in recent years, that never panned out on the field. Oklahoma State has had some really mediocre classes on paper that took them to a #2 finish. We missed on some key targets, which hurts -- you're right that those guys could have/should have been. But no one will know if this class is "good enough" for at least a couple of years.

can this not be said for every class? this class is more than decent... it's good, but not great. it could have been great. Top 10 even.

You're not being hypocritical, just realistic. You are correct, we won't know how this class contributes until we can assess how many do contribute to several different degrees: greatly; very well; better than average; average; below average; insignificant; transfer before it can be determined.
